Sher

Synopsis

The mixed-race illegitimate daughter of Sherlock Holmes, raised in colonial India, is drawn into a brutal mystery when Dr. Watson arrives in Rampur seeking her help to solve a massacre.

Set against the vivid and volatile backdrop of colonial India, Sher follows a young woman who has spent her life navigating two worlds — never fully belonging to either. The illegitimate daughter of Sherlock Holmes and an Indian woman, she has inherited her father's extraordinary mind but none of his privilege. When Dr. Watson arrives in Rampur, haunted and desperate, she is pulled into an investigation that cuts to the heart of empire, identity, and what justice means when the law belongs to someone else.
